RiskQuest is a leading quantitative consulting firm specialized in the development of state-of-the-art models and solutions for effective financial risk management, preventing money laundering and terrorist financing, and making data-driven decisions to realize a sustainable strategy.
Since our establishment in 2008, we have cultivated an impressive customer base, serving as trusted partners to major Dutch financial institutions, including the Dutch central bank. Our comprehensive services span the entire spectrum of model utilization: encompassing data management, model development, model validation, and policy and strategy formulation. In addition to our work with prominent financial institutions, we also engineer "in-house" models to cater to the specific needs of our clients. The choice of the model depends on each assignment; for instance, we deploy state-of-the-art machine learning models in the fight against money laundering, while adopting more traditional statistical models for assessing credit risk.
In today's financial landscape, robust risk management is key – and our models are the key to success. They empower a deeper comprehension of the underlying variables driving intricate relationships, bring transparency, lower costs, and provide a guid for making informed decisions.
Yet while models form the core of our services, we perceive them as a means rather than an end. Statistics are no substitute for judgment – the decision makers must understand what a model can and cannot do. To this end, we engage in a co-creative process with our clients, providing an essential and bespoke level of oversight, aligning the models with their overarching strategies.
Our expanding team boasts 60 exceptional quants, each with a rich background in mathematics, data science, physics, and econometrics, with a strong commercial sense and the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences, be it management, development teams, or academic stakeholders.
